The team will manage your care and collaborate with other healthcare professionals with seamless communication between providers

24/7 availability: Dr. Reed offers round-the-clock access through phone, email, or text, providing peace of mind and prompt attention in case of urgent medical concerns or emergencies.

Hospital Care -Dr. Reed is a member of the Physicians Hospital Organization at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and can oversee hospitalized care. We are also partnered with Accountable Inpatient Medicine, a private hospitalist group serving all major hospitals in Manatee and Sarasota counties.
Home Visits -Nursing staff and/or your physician will come to you if necessary

Instead of being just another number in a massive health system, you will engage in personalized and targeted care from James W. Reed III, MD and his entire clinical and administrative team.
MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS AT REED MEDICAL GROUP
Once we receive your completed paperwork and first payment, you will have reserved your spot on our limited patient panel. Memberships are renewed on an annual basis, but we are flexible with regard to payment schedule (monthly, quarterly, semiannual, etc.). We accept major credit cards, checks, and cash.
Reed Medical Group operates on an annual membership basis. At the start of your membership, our team will collect your past records to build a complete medical history and profile, ahead of your first appointment. Plan to spend at least an hour with Dr. Reed, as he gets to know you, understand your lifestyle, and develop a plan to address your health concerns.
From that point forward, we will be your personal healthcare advocates and our partnership will begin. Simply call the office whenever the need arises, and we will handle the rest. Whether you need an appointment, a prescription refill, a referral, or just a phone call with with anyone on staff, we will make sure your needs are fufilled.

GETTING STARTED
One major benefit of the membership model is that it allows us to provide care independently of insurance requirements. Rather than waiting weeks or potentially months for approval, we administer treatment right away. Your membership fee will cover the vast majority of claims that insurance may decline to pay. This means there are typically no additional costs for the patient beyond the membership fee.
We currently have only a small number of openings available for new members. After we reach our maximum of 300, we must place all new inquiries on a waiting list.

You'll have the opportunity to ask questions, discuss concerns, and receive thorough explanations without feeling rushed.
